A personal banking app that turns a stack of accounts and cards into one legible balance, with alerts that mean something.
The brief
One account view instead of four separate apps.
Customers were checking four different apps to understand their own money: one bank, two cards, and a separate savings product. The brief was a single, trustworthy view of all of it.
The approach
An aggregation layer built for correctness first.
A server-side aggregation layer reconciled balances and transactions across providers on a schedule, with every figure traceable back to its source account for support and audit.
Alerts were scoped to decisions a person actually needs to make — low balance before a due date, an unusual charge — rather than every transaction.
