Halden
A multi-tenant platform that connects production lines, quality records, and reporting for a distributed manufacturing group.
Overview
Halden builds components for industrial equipment. Growth had produced a patchwork of internal tools, each owned by the team that needed it.
Challenge
The same concepts were named differently across plants, and reporting required manual reconciliation before it could be trusted.
Approach
We defined a shared domain model with the people closest to production, then designed a platform and administration layer that could accommodate each plant's variation without fragmenting the system.
Engineering
Tenant isolation, permissions, and audit history were treated as core product features rather than infrastructure details, because the organisation's compliance obligations depended on them.
Outcome
A single platform now serves every plant, with local variation expressed through configuration rather than separate codebases.
Halden is a demonstration project; no figures are published.
